Norwegian Star 2001
Once the obsession had started, we looked for great reasons to cruise. First vicitims: Frank & Lillian for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. We sailed on the second voyage of the new NCL Star out of Honolulu. We saw truly beautiful sights as we cruised to ports in Maui, Kauai and Kona...and sailed south toward Fanning Island. Unfortunately, the seas were too rough at Fanning, but we truly enjoyed the time together as the we cruised in celebration of a wonderful marriage. |

) It was beautiful being on the NCL Star at Christmastime. The ship was decorated so nice, however we got a kick out of watching the Christmas trees rock back-and-forth when we were on the way to Fanning Island. |
